these shoes completely rock the casbah. they are rock-star awesome as far as the look -- like rock'n' roll platforms you'd wear with a dress to a concert, or with jeans out to go shopping. but the reason they are so amazing -- the comfort. i can be on my feet ALL DAY with these shoes and i'm fine (my feet are pretty babyish, too, i'll admit).the construction of the shoe is just out of this world. it's beautiful and feels like wlaking on a cushion.i am now a huge fan of gentle souls, and am purchasing more.PS: sizing seems right on target. i'm right between an 8.5 and 9 -- the 9 is perfect.

I was really worried these were going to look like dansko nursing shoes instead of cool, architectural mary janes, but I was happy when I saw them on. Usually, I size up in Gentle souls (I have wedge sandals and heeled boots in a 7.5 instead of my normal 7) but these were definitely true to size, if not a touch big.The toe look less pointy on, and look really lovely with skinny jeans. My one gripe is that the outsole is just smooth rubber, and the heel is plastic and slips on my wooden floor. I really wish these had better traction, but are otherwise very comfortable, and while they certainly feel like a platform, the vamp is not too high and I could walk in these for hours.

I love the cut of this shoe, the shape, the platform lip at the bottom--all adorable and funky and a little different. However, the material that the platform lip is constructed from is some sort of unyielding plastic, or wood, or perhaps metal. Essentially--it doesn't bend. So if you wear these prepare for clunking around like a geisha on your wooden clogs and never experiencing the joys of bending your feet as you walk. It is a shame because this shoe is so so cute and I would love to wear it. This is the second pair of shoes I've returned because of this issue. Who is designing these ridiculous constructions for women and calling them shoes? Ladies have bendable feet nowadays.

Just got these today tried them on straight away just a lovely comfortable shoe,love the style of days gone by, just beautiful the height is just right for me not to high the flower detail not to over the top.A really nice made shoe will treasure these.

This shoe looks even better in person. It's a beautiful shoe, great heel height and very comfortable. I think I will be able to wear these shoes with almost everything! I love these shoes!

I received my shoes, I immediatley loved the color. The size was fine but the fit was off. The shoe didn't bend with my foot, it felt stiff and as a result, slipped off my heels. The front was too low cut, showed too much toe clevage. I had to send them back. Amazon returned them with no problem. Thank you!

This shoe is sexy, hot and----- comfortable. I tried it on locally and it was amazing. The only shoe I've ever seen that I would consider paying this much for. It's from Spain and was true to size. I tend to wear shoes that are lower to be comfortable. I'm not a young chick who always wears heels, but these shoes were comfortable.

THE MOST FABULOUS PAIR OF SHOES EVER!!! I thought I would not have been able to walk in them across the parking lot of my job. Once I made it inside the building and got to the restroom to finish dressing & I placed these GORGEOUS shoes on my feet. OMG!!! I WAS IN LOVE!!! When I saw these I knew I was in love BUT! not until you have placed them on your feet then & only then will you understand what I mean. Very COMFORTABLE!! I keep them on the whole day as well as drove home wearing them. I LOVE THESE SHOES!!!

They are cute but the soles are a bit slippery so I suggest you get them stretch in the front and add grips on the soles to prevent from slipping.

These are adorable, and I am glad I picked up a pair of 7.5 before they sold out. They are true to size and are quite comfortable. The heel is low enough that I expect to get a full day's work out of this pair. These are worth the price and are of excellent quality.

Love the retro-ish look of these. Wish I could afford them in more colors! The navy looks great, and the fit was good for me - I have wide feet in the front but skinny heels, and ordered the 7.5 medium width. There a little room at the back, but the strap holds the shoe in place.

When I read that the length of the heel of these SM shoes were 4-1/2 inches, I knew that, that height was my max in terms of comfort level. I was happy to buy them for an outfit for a Christmas Office Party. I was surprised to received the shoes and they were actually 5 inches. I'm a little trepidatious about wearing them this weekend. However, they do make my legs look fabulous. These are one sexy mamas. My husband thought they looked great and encouraged me to give them a try. I'll see how it goes with these babies.
